I have another comment -- maybe you could put an "About" section giving a background of who you are, what you do for a living, your interests, etc. -- so your readers can identify with you. :)

And also provide a background on this blog -- why you started it, why it's called HeaRty's Haven, etc.

Nice improvements on your site, have you bought your domain na or still worried that you might get horror experiences like I did with mine?

I think I'd like to see borders or sorts maybe a separate color for the sidebar and the main post para di sya plain white. :)

you can remove na lang yung background nung banner mo. gawin mo na lang white. Sa wide screens kasi di magandang tingnan.

And the rest is good. Simple at di masakit sa mata.

I think in banner is to put something eye catching like yahoo and goolge idea.

I think this might help...

Have a goal or a purpose.

1 What is the primary purpose of your website 2 sales or information?
3 Who is your target audience?
4 Who will be the people that will visit your site?
5 Who will be the majority of your visitors?
6 Finally, remember that the customer is king. Your site could soon have a motley fan following because you take the trouble of listening to your customers and also go a step further to make changes to your site based on their valuable suggestions.

You should change your URL link colors. Hovering your mouse on links make them white - unreadable.

hi roch,

Im a webdev and software QA engr. ur fan hehe
i'll give you some free service this are just only UI suggestions.
1.) The left panel text turns white at mouse over try bright red or same color as ur meebo
2.) Lower the ad banner "Bakuna" or better put it way under
3.) Try light colored back ground not all the way just the body.
4.) Unbold text post comment button
5.) Try Putting the Photos, Vids, and Widgets where the ad banner is but without the preview.
Make them menu bars with sub menus.
6.) Replace home link at the bottom with top.

I think the goal for the changes is to let the user see all the options can be used links etc without scrolling down etc.

Well this are just suggestions from a avid fan :) Search the web for web templates so you can get more ideas. good luck more power tc

I agree with Jori about the banner background.

I don't agree with anonymous about rethinking what to write here. This is your personal blog. I think you should write anything that you feel like writing about. It's great as it is.


I'd suggest a hosted wordpress blog for better customization but If you want to stick with blogspot, all you need now is your own domain name.

Point of view 
There is no question about the site regardless of its purposes, personal blog or what but the fact is in the internet everyone can view the page not unless you customized it to view by selected people which is the primary concept of blogging in is already useless.

So I think in building your own page there are many things to be consider especially social responsibilities of blogging
